Your support will help us to realise the important exhibition Moments of clarity. Janus La Cour and the new image of nature (17.11.2024 - 22.6.2025) with accompanying catalogue.
The Danish painter needs to be rediscovered in his modernity: he captured an endangered nature that threatened to disappear in the ongoing industrialisation of Europe. His works unfold a meditative power and enter into a dialogue with two contemporary positions, with works by Per Kirkeby and Sven Drühl, who are or were themselves collectors of La Cour paintings.
The exhibition and catalogue are made in cooperation with Nivaagaards Malerisamling in Nivå, Denmark.
The exhibition of around 80 paintings and the accompanying catalogue are associated with high costs for art transport, art insurance, book production and security technology, among other things. We would be very pleased if part of the costs could be raised in the form of donations and would ask for your support.
