Per Bak Jensen: Lysfyldt/Luminous (2023, C-Print, Mat Diasec, 120 x 168 cm, framed, 1 of 6 prints)

Per Bak Jensen (b. 1949), one of the most important representatives of modern Danish photography and a source of inspiration for many younger artists, directs our attention to a motif – a harvested cornfield – which appears quite unremarkable and would probably not draw much attention on a normal, busy day. He forces us, however, to pause and take a closer look. The particular perspective and the strong daylight make different structures appear – caught by Per Bak Jensen's fabulous technique. The photography was made during his residency at MKdW in March 2023. He currently features at the museum with the exhibition Per Bak Jensen – Humming Earth (July 2nd to January 14th 2024), which is the first German solo exhibition of this famous artist!

The photography has a market price of € 12,600. It would greatly please Gallery Bo Bjerggaard in Copenhagen for this work to be acquired by a German museum. Hence, the work is generously offered for sale with a 20 % discount in this particular constellation.
